Teresa Perry of High Country Home Interior Design & Custom Cabinetry offers complete and reliable Interior and Kitchen Design services. Teresa prides herself on being able to instill trust within her clients by listening (with a trained ear!) to their inspirational ideas so that she is able to successfully bring them to life. Through her design process which consists of interior spatial planning, and architectural detail, color and textile consultations for ceiling and wall surfaces, as well as, window treatments, upholstered furniture and antique selections she is able to make their dreams become reality.
She encourages her clients to express their thoughts openly to her. She is able to implement their ideas through her trained listening skills and her unmistaken creativity. While she is carefully listening to and hearing her clients… She is drawing their words… “In my head I am drawing the ideas that are being expressed…it’s like a little roadmap in my minds eye.”
She enjoys doing extremely detailed research whether it’s researching for an historic preservation project’s architectural details, fabric or wall paper selections or how to properly fit a piece of detailed custom cabinetry.
I love a set of first draft architectural floor plans, some onion paper, a drafting pencil, my architectural drafting tools and a list of my clients needs… this is where my creative engine really begins to flow. I have extremely high visual standards, as do my clients. After all, it is all in the details!

Biography/Education/Awards/Etc:
High Country Home was established in December of 2006 with the idea to bring sophistication to country as well as to provide an unparalleled level of service to my clientele.
Teresa has studied Fine Arts and Art History at Keene State College and Northern Arizona University. She has an A.S. in applied science with a major in Fashion Merchandising and Design and a Minor in Marketing from Newbury College. She also has an A.S. in Interior Design from Fairfield University and has studied at the New York School of Interior Design. She is an Allied Memember of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and has 12 plus years in the Interior and Kitchen Design Industry.
She is native to NH and was living and working in the Fairfield County area of Connecticut. She worked for several well known design firms in Greenwich and Stamford, CT. That has received awards of excellence. She was trained by a renowned Kitchen and Bespoke English Cabinetry designer and still carries this foundation in her designs today. She has recently returned to NH and is working through out New England providing unique Interior and Kitchen Design services to her clients. She also carries an exclusive line of custom cabinetry.
I have had the privilege of working with some amazing clients throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New Hampshire. They are looking for quality and creative design solutions for their spatial planning and design needs. I enjoy designing calming environments for my clients and their families to live in. Life is so crazy out there ~ I believe home is a place that you can go back to at the end of the day and leave the chaos of the day behind... put your feet up and relax in a comfortable piece of furniture, settle down and enjoy being with your family and friends...or enjoy preparing for a fabulous dinner party in your highly functional new kitchen!

Fee Structures:
Interior design and Kitchen design services can be obtained by emailing or a giving me a call to discuss your project. Fees depend on the individual project…an hourly rate for consultations, a list/retail rate for fabric,cabinetry, furniture and accessories, as well as a project management option; these services are contractors invoice plus 20%.
